71a were proud to be shortlisted as a finalist for Marketing & PR Partner of the Year. We weren't lucky enough to win this year, but we had a great evening sharing a table with the lovely team at Leek Building Society.

Great to welcome David Wilson, joining us as a Paid Media Manager, and another new starter for our performance team at 71a.

David brings over 8 years of experience across paid media, covering Google Ads, Meta and other performance channels. He’s worked across a broad mix of sectors, from restaurants to airport parking, and joins us with a focus on delivering strong, measurable performance.

He’s looking forward to applying that experience within a more specialised financial services team.

We’re continuing to build out the performance team at 71a.

Great to welcome George Djiallis, joining us as a Paid Media Manager.

George started his career in sales before moving into digital marketing six years ago, giving him a strong grounding in both client relationships and performance strategy. Since then, he’s worked across a wide range of businesses, from local pubs through to national property developers and PLCs, focused on driving growth through data-led marketing.

He enjoys getting stuck into the data behind performance and using that to drive better outcomes.

There’s usually a moment in the 71a office where Ed says “quick question…”

Which is rarely a quick question.

It starts with something small, then turns into a proper look at what’s actually happening. A few tabs get opened, someone checks the numbers, someone else questions the journey, and suddenly we’re a lot deeper into it than expected.

Half the time it wasn’t even planned, but once something doesn’t quite add up, it’s hard to leave it alone.

By the end of it, the original question is answered and something else has been properly fixed along the way.

Happens more often than we’d like to admit, but probably why things keep getting better.
