Happy International Women’s Day. 🤍

To every woman, whether you’re a mum or not.

But this year? I can’t help but look at the women doing the daily juggle and just think… how?

Because life is full on as it is. The mental load. The expectations. The invisible to-do list running in your head 24/7.

Now add a business into that mix...

You’re building something from the ground up while raising tiny humans, running a home, holding space for everyone ele and still showing up with ambition and drive?

That’s not “good time management”. That’s superhero energy.

It can be a tough gig being a woman. We feel deeply. We care deeply. We carry a lot. But we do it because we love.

Love for our families. Love for the mission in our hearts. Belief that what we’re building matters and most importantly hope that the future we’re working towards is worth every late night and early morning.

It’s not just about everyone else either. It’s love for ourselves. For our potential. For our identity. For the life we’ve created as us - before the mum title, with the mum title, or without it altogether.

The easy option would be to pick a lane and stay there.

But tell me a driven, ambitious woman who’s ever chosen the easy route?

Yes, today can feel a bit gimmicky. A corporate tick-box moment. But instead of brushing it off, let’s use it.

Let’s use it to be proud. Loudly. Let’s use it to back each other properly. Let’s use it to celebrate women in every version of their journey - the ones climbing, the ones pivoting, the ones rebuilding, the ones just getting started.

That deserves more than a tick-box. It deserves some serious recognition!🤍✨

There is no shortage of marketing advice online right now. Some of it is helpful. A lot of it adds pressure that business owners really do not need!

Over the years, I have seen how damaging certain advice can be when it is taken out of context or applied without thinking about real life. Especially when you are already juggling clients, admin, sales and everything else that comes with running a business. It's a lot! 🤯

With Instagram pulling back on hashtags and TikTok now limiting them to just 5, it’s obvious that hashtags aren’t the tool for growth anymore.

We were told for years to cram in tonnes of hashtags and hope for the best. But as said hashtags are just there to help categorise your content. They don’t push it to more people.

So what actually works in 2026?
✅ Keywords in your captions
✅ On-screen text that clearly explains your content
✅ Watch time, saves, shares and comments

Use 3 to 5 hashtags that actually fit your post then put your energy into clear messaging and searchable wording.
