Want to share some exciting news today, 2026 has made me take stock and I have quietly been working away in small pockets of my time to learn and begin building an online marketing business.
Last year was one of the most challenging ones of my life! They say it never rains but it pours well guys it was a monsoon.
After moving from Essex to Lincolnshire in 2019 leaving my long career as a Pub Landlady/business owner we thought to slow life down a little and find more time to spend together doing many of the things that are not possible when running a pub. Exciting if not a little scary as I had spent 30 years plus in that role. We started to look for somewhere to rent and there it was out of the blue the house with stables and land my dream home with my horses looking over the garden fence. As soon as we arrived to view we knew it was perfect and one month later we were in.
Using my HGV 2 licence I went professional lorry driving even during Covid. Gerry went part time at Morrisons and life was brilliant. Then after a fall which meant Gerry needed an operation to pin his femur back to his hip they found the cancer, it was already to late to stop it but they did buy him a good chuck of time. Fast forward to 2025 on the day that I found out I needed back surgery due to the injury I had sustained the previous year we found out that the owners of the house had to sell due to their own family crisis. So we had to move downsize re-home 4 ponies, a goat and chickens in a matter of weeks. The world just came tumbling down and Gerry’s fight with it. In November he slipped away one Sunday evening peacefully in the end.
So here I am starting a new. Sitting in my little bungalow during the long winter evenings I was so grateful for my dogs company but very concerned about how I was going to make ends meet. Then I remember meeting some ladies who had told me about this opportunity that they had embarked on learning to create an income online in pockets of their time to create money and freedom for the things they wanted to do, At that time I did not have the head space for a new journey, but hey here I was sitting with nothing and no one to look after and a dream life that I wanted back.
So now when I am not at my full time bus drivers job, or looking after the one horse I have left or walking and training my dogs I have been learning how to create a business using digital marketing using this great platform which also gives me a chance to affiliate with multiple income streams.
The most exciting part is that if I can do it you can too. So let me ask you ‘What are your dreams“. “How are you doing right now”.
Those ladies I told you about in the last two years they have changed so much, their life, their work status and their time to live doing what they love.
