Wow…It’s Been 7 Years!
Seven years ago, I took a leap of faith and launched Queen Bee & Co. Looking back now, what an incredible journey it has been!

Running a business certainly isn't always easy, but I can honestly say I've loved every minute of it. Every challenge, every success, every lesson learned has helped shape the business we are today.

And the best part?
I get to spend my days doing what I absolutely LOVE; working with fantastic clients whose businesses I'm genuinely passionate about helping grow.

Our website division continues to go from strength to strength, with my husband, Tom, leading the way in creating beautiful, effective websites that help businesses stand out online and attract their ideal customers.

Alongside that, I'm still providing marketing consultations and strategic guidance to businesses, helping owners gain clarity, confidence and a clear direction for growth.

And of course, events remain a huge part of what we do. From networking events and business retreats to exciting new experiences currently in the pipeline. Bringing people together is something we're incredibly passionate about. We're also proud to manage events on behalf of our clients, taking away the stress and allowing them to focus on enjoying the experience. After all, events are in our blood!

Most importantly, I want to say a huge ‘THANK YOU’ to every client, friend, ambassador, collaborator and supporter who has been part of this journey. Whether you've worked with us, attended an event, recommended us, shared our content or simply cheered us on from the sidelines, you've helped make Queen Bee & Co what it is today.

Seven years ago, I took a leap of faith and launched Queen Bee & Co. Looking back now, what an incredible journey it has been!

So our Rutland 'Cowork & Create' launch event is happening this Friday at the rather beautiful Burley Bar at The Barnsdale Hotel

If you're a solo entrepreneur craving connection, creativity and accountability, come and be part of our fabulous and supportive Co-Working & Create community, designed especially for independent business owners like you.

Business owners and creative entrepreneurs are invited to join Cowork & Create, a co-working community designed to inspire collaboration, connection, creativity and an opportunity to learn new things from your peers.

The event takes place every second Friday (may change from time to time) in the month at the rather gorgeous Barnsdale HOTEL IN RUTLAND and marks an exciting new chapter for local entrepreneurs and business owners based in Rutland, Leicestershire and surrounding areas seeking a supportive space to work, learn share ideas and grow together and not be at home alone! Another Happy Client and a Website that's as impressive as the business behind it!

It has been an absolute pleasure working with award-winning private chef, Simon at at on his brand new website. What I love most about this story is that it all started with a networking event...

At the weekend, I had the absolute pleasure of celebrating a very special milestone... the fabulous 50th birthday of my lovely friend, Michelle, Wright better known to many as 'Mrs Stylewright' Mrs Stylewright

As I stood there surrounded by friends, laughter and plenty of celebrations, it got me thinking about how our friendship began.

I first met Michelle around 6 or 7 years ago when I was hosting networking events at Cinco Lounge in Grantham. At the time, neither of us could have imagined where that first introduction would lead.

Over the years, Michelle has become not only an incredible ambassador for my business, supporting my networking events, business expos, attending my overseas business retreats and always championing what I do, but she's also become a true friend. Someone I can rely on, someone who listens without judgement and someone who is always thoughtful, kind and willing to step in when needed.

In fact, only last week she stepped in to host 'Ladies in the Hive' networking event for me when I couldn't be there myself. Thank you, my lovely, I appreciate you more than you know.

What I love most about this story is that it all started with a networking event.
People often ask me if networking is worth it. My answer is always the same, 'absolutely!'.

Of course, networking can bring new opportunities, collaborations and clients, but sometimes it gives you something even more valuable - genuine friendships.
Running a business on your own isn't always easy. There are highs, lows and plenty of moments where you wonder if you're doing the right thing. Having the right people around you can make all the difference. They keep you motivated, inspired accountable and quite frankly, sane!

This friendship began all those years ago with a simple conversation at a networking event, and look where it has taken us both.

So here's to meeting new people, building meaningful relationships and being brave enough to walk into that room, even when it feels uncomfortable.
You never quite know who you might meet.
