We’re delighted to announce the merger of Ipswich Embroidery and Print with GDS Signage. Initial discussions were based around simply sharing a larger business unit, but very quickly it became clear the goals and aims of both businesses were so closely aligned, and the services offered so perfectly complimentary a merger proves the most exciting opportunity for growth and long term success.

The business name will continue as Ipswich Embroidery & Print, in no small measure thanks to the impending launch of our bespoke made online sales platform (more news coming soon!), this merger means simply that you can now solve most of your branding, signage and print needs under one roof whilst also offering a greatly improved level of customer service.

Our product list has now grown to include digital services to add to the embroidery business. The company has invested heavily in state of the art equipment to give the best output. Some of the products under the new venture include:-

Still being local enough to deal with the smaller jobs which we’ve built our business on, but now with the added manpower and equipment to handle much larger and more varied jobs, with no drop off in customer service or speed of delivery.”

Thanks to the merger our new offices are at Unit 66A, Claydon Business Park, Great Blakenham, Suffolk, IP6 0NL. With the expansion in machinery and space it means we’ve got a site to both welcome visitors and customers and ensure long term capacity for the business.

Fair is fair.... That does look like a tasty burger!

Even if it's not your thing the Duke is an awesome local pub, with an exceptional range of beers at great prices too!

Our local residents group wanted some freebie banners to promote our street sale in a couple of weeks. Not a problem, I said.

However to keep costs down, and taking into account the fact they'll be up for a couple of weeks then binned, we did a couple of key things.

1 - Didn't hem the banners. Hemming obviously reinforces where the strain from wind and the elements pulls on the eyelets.
2 - Made them a size which would most effectively fit the media size, so less wastage. These are 600x400
3 - Because of the size, only did eyelets in each corner.

So. They're simple, but definitely fits the brief and would retail at only £5 each!

So if you need some short term banner signage then get in touch. The print and inks will still last for years, so could also be perfect for indoor use too.

Window cling vinyl installed for the amazingly talented Samantha at All About You - Ipswich .

Unfortunately perforated vinyl (initially requested) was invisible due to the fact she's on the 3rd floor, so front printed vinyl was the way to go.

Banner made up for the guys at Raja stores.

At the risk of sounding like an out of touch politician, I have no idea how much potatoes cost, but £8 for a 25kg sack of 'em seems pretty fair to me!

Some vinyls ready for lamination and mounting ahead of the 24th when it becomes.... THE LAW!!! *cue dramatic music*.

Glass etching job done for a chaps pub shed! I have no idea what a Pepper Hussey is, but a funky logo is a funky logo!

Maybe one of the least interesting looking jobs ever but some one way vinyl printed up for a home office!

Almost unnoticeable from the inside but offering solid block of colour when viewed from the outside.

Large format prints from the other week onto polypropylene paper, which is a lovely matte finish, waterproof and in effect unrippable!

Clever stuff.
