Yes it’s 72 pages long and it did feel reminiscent of writing a dissertation.

This still kind of blows my mind 🤯

The first image? Just me, at my desk, doing what I do most days.
The second? A glimpse of where AI has gotten to — pretty impressive really (although I’m convinced the camera's added a couple of pounds 😂).

I didn’t write this post alone either — I used ChatGPT to help shape it. Not because I couldn’t do it myself, but because sometimes you need a sounding board. Something to spark ideas or help get your thoughts in order.

That’s what excites me about AI in marketing — not the flashy stuff, but the useful bits. The nudges that help me move faster, think differently, and spend more time on the work that really matters.

It’s not here to replace the human side — just to make a bit more room for it.

I donned the old hard hat again this week doing a site visit to Pall Mall development on King Street. I always love a sneak peak behind the scenes. Coming next year it’s going to offer some amazing workspaces.

Today was a big day with . After 9 months of hard work, they launched their brand new intranet! Using the CMS, we built it entirely from scratch, designing the architecture, building the pages and delivering training ourselves. All the content is brand new. It’s such a massive achievement from everyone involved!

Collaboration it's a buzz word in business. As a marketing professional, I've always done it in my roles. But now I'm freelance, it's taken on a whole new meaning. It means not being on your own. You don't have to view other professionals in your field as competition. Having a network can bring you valuable insights and experience, as well as moral support.

I love collaboration more than ever now.

It may be but it’s also my first day back at work after the Christmas break and I feel well rested and ready to go.

An extended break has done me the world of good allowing me to properly switch off and take some time to focus on personal priorities and spending time with my loved ones over the holidays.

Working for myself has allowed me to do this. It has come with its compromises but I wouldn’t change it right now. My quality of life and mental health is in great place.
