NOEMI Aerospace has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SkyHop Aviation, India's first dedicated commercial seaplane operator, to start with the introduction of up to 15 NOEMI amphibious aircraft into the Indian market.

SkyHop is building a dedicated seaplane network in India, with initial operations focused on connecting the islands of Lakshadweep with each other and with the mainland. The company is targeting a fleet of up to 40 aircraft by FY2030.

Under the MoU, SkyHop and NOEMI will evaluate the technical, operational, commercial and regulatory requirements for introducing NOEMI aircraft into SkyHop's future fleet.

The collaboration will also explore opportunities for a broader strategic partnership in India, including the potential for future manufacturing and assembly of electric and hybrid NOEMI aircraft in the country. Any such cooperation would be subject to further evaluation and separate agreements between the parties.

SkyHop plans to introduce up to 10 NOEMI aircraft by FY2030 through purchase, lease or a combination of both, subject to operational suitability, regulatory approvals, commercial evaluation and definitive agreements. The agreement also includes an option for five additional aircraft, subject to the successful introduction of the initial aircraft.

FAI rent-a-jet, Germany's leading provider of mission-critical aviation services, has further strengthened its fleet with the addition of a Bombardier Global 6000 (D-AFAN, MSN 9471). The acquisition was completed just five weeks after the letter of intent (LOI) was signed, underlining FAI's reputation for acting quickly and reliably in aircraft acquisitions.

The ultra long-range business jet is the second Global 6000 to join the fleet in 2026 and the seventh Bombardier Global series aircraft operated by FAI, bringing FAI’s all Bombardier business jet fleet to 18. The Global 6000 which has logged only 900 flight hours will be based at its Nuremberg headquarters and is available for immediate worldwide corporate charter.

With a range of more than 6,000 nautical miles, the Global 6000 is well suited to intercontinental missions, connecting key business centres such as London and Dubai, Frankfurt and Singapore, or Geneva and New York.

Its spacious three-zone cabin accommodates up to 14 passengers, offering outstanding comfort and privacy.
