No to ‘them’ and ‘us’, yes to ‘hey team!’ At the time, he was reading a book about silverbacks and their troops, and imagined a place where everyone respected each other and worked together towards a common goal, like it was second nature. That’s why we welcome you into our Troop, to work with us, throwing off the shackles of the traditional client/agency relationship. We’re always asked why we’re called Silverback®. Well, silverbacks are big, strong and powerful, with an innate wisdom that goes back for generations, almost to the beginning of time. So how does that relate to an independent design and web agency in Surrey? Well, silverbacks are respectful of their troop, protecting and nurturing it with their lives, they thrive off collaboration, are brave enough to stand up for what they believe in, and know instinctively when they’re right. What actually happens when a project falls out of scope?
Briefs are written at a fixed point in time. Projects aren’t and new ideas appear, stakeholders can join late, priorities shift. That’s just how creative work goes.

So when something changes, we don’t immediately reach for the rate card. If a bit of extra thinking gets the work to a better place, we get on with it. And when something genuinely reshapes the project, we pause and have a straightforward conversation about what it means.

A good creative partnership isn’t about holding each other to the proposal. It’s about getting to the best outcome together.

We partnered with Aspire Pharma, a global life science business dedicated to patient care, to refresh their brand and design their new website.

From dermatology to oncology, Aspire’s work genuinely improves lives. So when it came to their digital presence, we knew it had to reflect exactly that: clear, credible, and built to grow.

The brief? A website design that speaks to patients, healthcare professionals, investors, and partners, all at once. No small ask.

We ran discovery sessions, did a full brand audit, and got to work. We delivered a refreshed visual identity, website designs, and a full suite of assets including social templates, email signatures, letterhead, business cards, and a PowerPoint presentation.

Because whatever stage a brand is at, consistency is what makes it stick.

‘We help, we care’ is Aspire’s headline. Honestly? Same.

Male fertility affects 50 million couples worldwide. Yet for too long, the conversation has been one-sided. Testhim® are changing that and we were proud to help them do it.

They came to us with a vision they couldn’t quite crack. An in-house website that had outgrown their ambitions, a growing podcast flying under the radar, and a mission too important to be held back by either.

We dug in. Built something clean, clear, and genuinely welcoming. Designed to speak to men, but crafted to connect with everyone. Empathetic in tone. Considered in design. And never, ever clinical.

From a secure patient questionnaire portal to Shopify integration and a brand-consistent podcast hub, every detail was built around making it easier for men to take that first step.

Troop on tour!

The digital team headed down to the sunny coast last week for . Two days of learning, laughing, and trading notes on SEO, paid media, organic social and AI.
