How do I get my website on the first page of Google?🤔

This is a question I get asked a LOT, and so I thought I would give some quick actional tips that even the most beginner website owner can do TODAY to start getting their website climbing up the search engine results.

1. Google Business Profile
Make sure you have created your GBP (Google Business Profile) this is the very first thing you should have. This is easily done by searching Google Business Profile within Google.

2. Create content
You should think about creating content, such as case studies, blog posts, service pages, etc. These pages should be rich with specific keywords that your business wants to rank for, for example, a plumber should be looking to rank for things like "Emergency Plumber Call-out" and "Local Plumber" etc.

3. Get Reviews
Reach out to previous customers and get them to leave reviews on your Google Business Profile. This sends trust signals to Google, and this will help Google to push your services when people search for them.

4. Competitor analysis
Make time to do a search for the keywords you want to be found for. Then make a note of those websites that appear on the first page, then go through and audit these websites and implement the things that they are doing.
Remember not to copy but to get inspiration.

I have stuck a link in the comments for anyone who would like to learn more about SEO (search engine optimisation) and get there business website supercharged!

Hello everyone, John your local web designer and SEO wizard here!
I was thinking about how we tell people to use local services, but wondered if people actually knew why?
I can only speak about my particular business, if you have a local business and would like to add your thoughts, please do!
So, here are my thoughts on why using a local web designer is a great idea.
First and foremost, when you use a local web designer, you are supporting your local community. By hiring someone who lives and works in your area, you are helping to create jobs and boost the local economy.
In addition to supporting your community, using a local web designer can also provide some practical benefits. For example, because they are located nearby, it is much easier to meet with them in person to discuss your project and provide feedback. This can help ensure that your website is exactly what you want and need.
Moreover, because they are familiar with the local market and community, a local web designer will be able to create a website that is tailored to your target audience and that will effectively promote your business to potential customers in your area.
Overall, using a local web designer is not only a great way to support your community, but it can also provide some practical benefits for your business. So if you are in need of a new website, consider hiring your local web designer!

Another website completed for an outstanding client!

FFM - Farm & Forestry Ltd came to us asking for their website to be updated and brought in line with Google's policy.

We got to work straight away, creating backups of the content that was already on the original website.

A new sleeker and more up-to-date design was then implemented and FFM's catalogue of machinery was added.

A contact form and used machinery were added and a slider was added to the hero section.

The website was delivered well under the projected timeframe and the customer was happy.

To visit the site the URL is https://ffmltd.co.uk

If you would like your website to be up to date then please get in touch and we can see what we can do for you!
