📝 Match Report | U13 League Action

Trimdon United U13 0 – 5 Middlesbrough Girls U13

It was back to league action today for the U13s as they rounded off their league campaign with an impressive away win at Trimdon.

The girls started slowly, trying to force the long ball on a tight pitch, but once they settled the passing began to flow. As confidence grew, they looked far more relaxed and comfortable in possession. The tricky surface didn’t help in front of goal and chances were snatched at, but the team still went in 2–0 up at half-time against a very combative Trimdon side.

At half time we spoke about being braver in the final third, relax, and don’t overplay.

The second half saw some excellent football from both teams. Although Middlesbrough controlled much of the game, Trimdon remained a threat on the counter attack. The girls added three more goals and put together some outstanding team passing moves to see the game out in style.

⭐ Girl of the Game – Lilly
Going from strength to strength and really asserting herself as a midfield general. Strong as an ox, great vision, and never afraid to let one fly. Unlucky to come away with just the one goal.

🏅 Parents’ Player of the Game – Duniya
Another top performance. Calm under pressure, relentless, and never gives up on the ball.
