Very honoured to have been asked to design artwork for the latest Hatful of Rain album. It was a real treat to work on it. We came up with the concept together and then commissioned Art Josie Tipler to create the illustration.

Finally able to excitedly announce the release of our 4th album ‘Waystation’ coming Monday 11th Aug. Launch show Thurs 7th at Shoreham-by-Sea’s Ropetackle Arts.
This marks 15yrs of making music as a band. Been chipping away at this for some time and so happy to share with you. Thanks to Hailsham Creative for the fabulous artwork!

I SAID PROFESSIONAL!!

That o'l AI monster raises its head again.
"Design a professional logo"?
"Now 'YOU'VE' designed your own logo…"?
That's all well and good if you're after bland and formulaic. Because that's what AI is set up to deliver. It puts together elements that have been tried and tested - same in every creative sector where it's being implemented. A professional (human) designer often strives to achieve the opposite of that, which is why many of us are still able to do what we do.
Want a unique brand? Come to a designer or, yes, just do it yourself without AI. It may look "iunprofessional" but at least it will be unique! You can always get a professional designer to bring your idea and creativity to life.

In other news, we’ve been busy working on a variety of projects including two of my favourites, the Hailsham Festival programme and the Hailsham Pavilion - Cinema and Theatre programme.

Another generic little banner at the bottom of a bill, easily missed, advising of an automatic extra monthly charge unless we call to opt out. Of course I missed this and had to spend time once again asking for a refund. This is the fourth time, all for different additional services . 🙄

It's been a busy day in the studio, working on jobs for 5 totally different clients. It's chilly outside but we're in the warmest room in the house.... so are 2 cats and 2 dogs!
