You alright mate?

After interviewing more than 150 people on his Different Hats podcast, Sam realised that we are all asking each other the wrong questions and explores this premise in a heartfelt feature in SBT.

Men are often advised to “Talk to someone” or “Ask for help,” but this only scratches the surface of the issue. Men are not struggling with speaking up; the real issue is that they do not know what it means to be a man anymore.

For generations, men were handed a fairly simple script. Provide. Protect. Stay strong. Don't cry. Keep going. Run after money and status. A lot of men follow this script, achieve their goals, only to find it provides only shallow external validation and that something important is still missing.

Want to know more about how Sam Thomas is working to change the system and extend a hand to all of the men struggling out there?

“Art is not what you see but what you make others see” - Edgar Degas.

Simon David Eden applied this principle at the Brighton Fringe exhibition, Shadow Light: Songs My Brother Taught Me. The art exhibition was a poignant rendition of brotherhood, grief, mental health and healing. It was a huge success.

This exhibition became a sanctuary for the unspoken, turning painful truths into gentle, healing whispers. It was a beautiful reminder of what art does best: helping people feel seen, heard, and understood.

Bored with the same old venues for networking events? Change it up at the Brighton Toy and Model Museum.

The museum features a world-famous collection of vintage toys, models, railway layouts, dolls, construction kits, and childhood favourites. The collection is the ultimate conversation starter, preventing any awkward silences.

The museum is one of Brighton’s gems, often overlooked by locals. We are always surprised at how many Brightonians have never even set foot there. People always forget the great places on their doorsteps. It’s like the way tourists flock to the Tower of London, while Londoners ignore it.

Hosting a networking event at the museum gives locals a chance to visit!

It is also very easily accessible, sitting just beneath the Brighton Station.

Buyers are using AI to filter businesses out before they even visit a homepage. Is your website ready to earn their trust?

Platforms like ChatGPT and Gemini can do hours of market research in just minutes. As a result, buyers come to your website with little patience. They are not only looking for the best price, but also for the lowest risk. They want to choose a business they can trust to do the job right and protect their money.

In his latest article for Sussex Business Times, Jon Kennett, Agency Director at Bozboz, explains that to stand out in a crowded market, you need to move beyond vague corporate jargon that often appears when companies struggle to explain what they really do. Instead, Jon shows how you can quickly earn trust from new visitors by focusing on three key things: Proof, Clarity, and Reliability.
