In an incredibly weak field of UK Christmas advertising this year, where budget has clearly been a key factor (and it shows) Saatchi & Saatchi have romped home yet again in the marketing stakes when it comes to festive genius. Cleverly targeting Gen X and millennials (the core spending demographic) this advert pushes all the right buttons.

Bravo, Saatchi; clear winners this year.

Delighted to complete this simple commission for the excellent The Pear Tree Fund - a local charity to the agency who provide care, advice and signposting services to people with life limiting illnesses, those who are at end of life and crucially, also their families.

Multi award-winning comedy writer Jan Etherington will be presenting two audio plays in aid of The Pear Tree Fund on Saturday 18th January.

Jan has a unique talent to move her audience to tears and laughter all at the same time. The plays are both poignant & witty and give an insight into the emotional impact of caring for a loved one in the toughest of times.

Jan is also a patron of the Pear Tree Fund and this is what she had to say about her connection with us: “I discovered the Pear Tree Fund when I was asked to write a play for the charity,” said Jan. “Subsequently, my husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and the Pear Tree Fund has been wonderfully supportive. I am honoured to be a patron.”

Alongside her husband Gavin Petrie, Jan has written many long-running radio and TV comedies, including ‘Second Thoughts’, ‘Next of Kin’ and ‘Faith in the Future’. Her most recent success is Radio 4 comedy ‘Conversations from a Long Marriage’, starring Joanna Lumley and Roger Allam.

Another new client here, too. Exciting news, as the cafe at Emmerdale Farm Shop is due to re-open next week as Fauna Cafe at Emmerdale Farm
Works have included logo and branding from concept, menu design, photography and social media set up.

The brief was for a striking bold look, and both us and the client fell in love with this gorgeous deep sea blue and mustard colourway.

We wish Paula and her lovely team every success at Fauna Cafe at Emmerdale Farm and we can't wait to get in there for a Full English!
