Update: L4N UK is taking a pause

18/06/2025

Just wanted to share a huge THANKS to those who attended the L4N networking session last week at The Elsie Whiteley Innovation Centre, the workplace of Alex Beardsley who kindly agreed to share her career journey to date with our attendees.

It was a privilege to hear how Alex Beardsley, MCIM has:

*Against the odds, achieved many of her original work life goals
*Paused to re-assess what she values and how to progress professionally
*Continues to achieve academically whilst working a portfolio career
*Been a parent for more than half her life

The conversation after Alex’s talk was around many topics: who considers themselves good at Maths?! How to use Tech Apps to develop a holistic business and lots more.

We welcomed a couple of new attendees and found out how some were already connected through business and sporting activities.

** Our next L4N is at the end of July: Friday 25th July 1-3pm and will have a sporting theme. Watch this space for the Eventbrite note.

Thanks again to Alex and the team at Halifax Opportunities Trust for hosting us.
