ADVANCED WARNING

We have been informed that Ogden Lane and vehicle access to Ogden Water (including access to the car parks) will NOT be permitted from Monday 27th April as the road will be fully closed for up to a month. This is for installing broadband fibre along the road.

Access for pedestrians will still be allowed.

Yes this months magazines came out on the 1st April… but we made a right fool of ourselves. We ran an article about the history of the well-loved local and incorrectly stated the pub was now shut and looking for new tenants… in fact it’s still open for business and new tenants have been found and will be taking over in a couple of months.

Apologies… and thank you to Linda for her understanding and humour today when our MD Lee popped in to apologise!

The Friends of Bailiffe Bridge Memorial Park & Residents Group are working with Calderdale Council (CMBC) to upgrade the Bailiffe Bridge play area. The goal is to create a safe, fun, and inclusive space for children of all ages.

Thanks to the Community Foundation for Calderdale for the grant towards some of the equipment to date.

Every donation brings us closer to giving our community a play area we can be proud of!
