Had an amazing night at TK Maxx presents The Piece Hall
Public Service Broadcasting PUBLIC SERVICE BROADCASTING delivered a truly mesmerising show!
I was thinking they were Electro/ Indie but their musical description as ‘masters of conceptual pop historiography, blend stirring historic audio narratives with rock, electronics and orchestration’ covers their own personal classification brilliantly.
This was their largest concert outside London and we were thrilled they came to ! This outdoor event space was blessed with dry weather and Sunday night crowd of all ages.
Rated as one of music’s must-see live acts, I most definitely agree 👍 They opened their Halifax show with Electra and The Fun Of It – both tracks taken from the 2024 album The Last Flight – a tribute to aviator Amelia Earhart.
They followed the spectacular opening with such fan favourites as The Pit, Night Mail, Korolev, Spitfire, Blue Heaven, The Other Side and Go!
The band returned to the stage for a four-song encore which included the epic Gagarin and Everest with band . During the finale, the whole stage froze, then turned black and white, including Yorkshire drummer Wrigglesworth and the visiting Spacemen.
