It’s always great to support young creatives as they take their first steps in the creative sector. The design industry thrives when fresh perspectives are encouraged and nurtured.

8/10 – and no, that’s not how we rate Shaun (he’s at least an 8.5).

Shaun has now conquered marathon number 8 of his 10 marathons in 10 days challenge for Alzheimer’s Research UK. That’s over 200 miles on foot, carrying his own gear, fuelled by flapjacks, grit, and pure determination.

Despite claiming we’re probably all bored of his selfies, we’re very much not bored of seeing him smash this epic feat.

He’s now raised over £2,300 – which is absolutely phenomenal, and every donation gives him a huge motivational boost (alongside the electrolytes).

🏃‍♂️ 10 Marathons. 10 Days. One Shaun.

What drives someone to run over 260 miles in just ten days, carrying all their own gear and pushing through fatigue, terrain, and good ol’ British weather?

For Shaun, it’s raising money for Alzheimer's Research UK – and he’s taking on a huge endurance challenge in order to do it. He’s running ten marathons in ten consecutive days, to raise as much as possible to fund life-changing research.

Starting in Bowness-on-Solway, he’s covering the full Hadrian’s Wall route to Newcastle, continuing past Sunderland, through Lanchester, Barnard Castle, Hawes, and Skipton, finishing at home in Lower Wyke.

This is a continuous journey – not a race – but a test of stamina and determination.
