Last few photos from our trip to the Houses of Parliament last week supporting the Chemical Business Association’s Parliamentary Reception – an extremely successful event attended, among others, by MPs and representatives from various government departments.
Several key topics were discussed on the night, including Government’s plan to reindustrialise the UK, which centres on the , and the need to ensure the chemical sector is recognised as an integral part of that strategy.
Following the Reception, Tim Doggett and the CBA delivered three letters to 10 Downing Street, asking Government to:
• Recognise the critical importance of chemicals and the chemical supply chain
• Secure a workable and proportionate future for UK REACH
• Support the next generation of talent through Generation STEAM
We’re very proud to continue working alongside the CBA to help raise awareness of the vital role the sector plays not only in business, but in every aspect of modern life.
