✨ After months of waiting, wishing and wondering, my greatest little adventure has arrived…

I’m over the moon to share that our beautiful baby boy has made his early arrival into the world a few days ago 🍼🩵✨

My heart is so full as I soak up this precious new chapter of being a mum.

To all the incredible women in business who follow me—you’ve inspired and cheered me on throughout my journey, and I can’t wait to return the favour when I’m back in the swing of things.

For now, I’m pressing pause to enjoy newborn cuddles, but know that I’m still cheering you on from afar. 📸💕

✨ Officially on Maternity Leave ✨

This year didn’t quite go to plan… when I set my goals for 2025, becoming a mum wasn’t on the list – but life had other ideas 💕

After years of cheerleading and supporting so many incredible mums in business, it’s now my turn to experience this first-hand.

I can’t thank my clients enough for being so patient and supportive. Functioning through a full pregnancy with hyperemesis and constant sickness/hospital visits, has been far from easy, but your encouragement has meant everything.

Over the next few weeks, I won’t be regularly checking emails or messages as I settle into this new chapter.

My plan is to take the rest of 2025 to embrace motherhood, then in spring 2026 I’ll be back – ready to capture brands, tell stories through photos, grow our local business community, and rock life as a mum in business.

Here’s to the next chapter and I can’t wait to share the journey with you!

This morning I spotted something had been nibbling at my petunias…

Cheeky wee bug! 🐛

But then I noticed one of the petals had a perfect little heart eaten right into it. 💜
And it honestly made me smile.

It reminded me of something I always tell my clients —

🩷Things don’t have to be perfect to be powerful.

🩷Your visibility doesn’t have to be polished.
Your photos don’t have to be flawless.

🩷Your content doesn’t have to be ‘just right’ to connect with the people who need what you do.

That wee petal wasn’t perfect — but it stood out.

And sometimes, it’s the little imperfections that make you most memorable.

So if you’ve been holding back because things aren’t quite ready, polished or ‘professional enough’… this is your sign. 💛

Just show up as you are. That’s more than enough.

Yesterday I felt so nervous about posting again.

I actually messaged in my mentor group about how anxious I was feeling… and that’s just not like me.

I’m usually the biggest cheerleader for women showing up in their business — to be visible, confident, and proud of what they do.
But all I wanted to do yesterday was hide.

And that moment reminded me just how many of my clients feel too.
Especially those who aren’t used to being the face of their business, or don’t feel confident on social media.

It’s scary. It’s vulnerable.
But here’s what I also know…

✨ Hiding away won’t let the world see how brilliant you are.

I’m lucky — because of the work I do, I know how to boost my visibility when I’m ready to come back.
But I know it’s not as easy for everyone.

I’ve been super quiet on here lately… and I wanted to be honest about why. 💛

Since March, I’ve been really unwell with Hyperemesis Gravidarum — a severe pregnancy sickness (yep, the same one Princess Kate had!) and honestly… I’ve just been in survival mode, with regular hospital visits and zero energy.

It forced me to fully step back — something I rarely do as someone who lives, breathes and loves what I do.

Anyone who knows me, knows I’m always encouraging women to show up in their business — so stepping back felt really uncomfortable… but it’s been necessary.

The break wasn’t planned, but it gave me perspective.

✨ Resting is productive.
✨ Slowing down doesn’t mean giving up.

I’m easing myself back in gently now, with a little more compassion and a lot of gratitude — and reminding myself… I’m still growing a tiny human too 👶💫

If you’ve been in a quieter season too, I see you. You’re doing better than you think.

Let’s talk about Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG).

Ironically, I missed the awareness day—because I was too sick with it myself. But I couldn’t let it pass without saying something, especially now that I truly get it.

Before pregnancy, I didn’t give HG much thought. I’d heard Princess Catherine had it, but I assumed it was just a more intense version of morning sickness.

It’s not. It’s so much more than that.

I’m now halfway through my pregnancy, and I’ve spent 16 out of 20 weeks being really sick.
Not just in the morning—this is 24/7.

💧 It’s the constant dehydration
⚖️ The weight loss
🩺 The doctors telling you to “just eat something” when nothing stays down
🏥 The hospital visits
🍪 The endless “have you tried ginger biscuits?” suggestions (spoiler alert: NOTHING works)
💔 seeing your husband be strong for you, when you know it’s breaking him inside too.

It’s the fear. The fear of what all this is doing to your baby, while your own body is in survival mode.

You don’t feel like you anymore.
You’re not functioning—you’re existing. Counting the hours until you can crawl back into bed and try again tomorrow.

Anyone who knows me, knows I’m always on the go. I love a busy, full life. But lately, I’ve been so sick that I haven’t been able to look after myself, never mind my business. And that’s been heartbreaking.

I hate that my business has had to take a back seat. I hate that I’ve had to cancel things. But my body has given me no choice.

This experience has completely opened my eyes and heart.

To the women who’ve lived through HG…
To the women who’ve had to end a pregnancy because they were so unwell…
To the women who’ve tragically taken their own lives because of how relentless it is…

I see you now.

I feel it.

And I’ll never underestimate it again.

Pregnancy is a miracle, yes—but it’s also bloody tough.
