CM17 Connection Magazine’s popularity has spread throughout villages, towns and communities, now arriving each month through 10,200 letterboxes, and into the hands of many more. Produced for and by those living in the CM17 area, our publication’s mission is to ser

ve the community, giving local organisations, schools and churches a voice, as well as offering businesses the opportunity to advertise directly to their target market, and for very reasonable rates! Because it remains to be an independent and family-run publication, we support the community and in turn, the community supports us. So for all events, listings, features and information on hot topics in the area, CM17 Connection Magazine is all anyone needs. 🚨 Day of Action on Illegal E-Scooters & Unsafe E-Bikes 🚨

Essex Police is supporting a national day of action on Saturday 6 June to tackle the illegal use of e-scooters and unsafe e-bikes.
Led by our Roads Policing Unit and local neighbourhood policing teams, the focus will be on education, enforcement and keeping our communities safe.

🔎 What you need to know:
• Privately-owned e-scooters are illegal on public roads, pavements and cycle paths
• They can only be used on private land with permission
• Illegal e-scooters can and will be seized
• Only government-approved rental e-scooters are allowed in certain areas

👮 On the day, officers will:
• Target illegal riders
• Seize unsafe vehicles
• Speak to riders about the law and risks
• Raise awareness around anti-social behaviour

⚠️ Unintentional law-breaking is not an excuse
Before you buy or ride, make sure you understand the rules.
By choosing legal options, you can help keep Essex’s roads and public spaces safe.
