Pete reached out to us as the Marketing and PR lead from Swanscombe Tigers Football Club, following our work on the Kent Disability Football League website, with a brief to develop a new website that:

💼 The brief

Lisa reached out to us from a referral from an existing customer (Linda at Clear-Clarity Counselling) to create a visual and digital identity package for her new counselling service.

With a clear vision for an approach, Lisa wanted her identities to be designed around her motto: Walking Alongside You.

As a counselling service, it was important that all designs, imagery and elements of the identity communicated confidence, reassurance, openness and honesty.

Visually, we needed to build trust from the start.

🎨 The design

From our discussions with Lisa, we developed two guiding principles to drive our approach.

Firstly, we embraced Lisa’s motto, Walking Alongside You. This became central to our imagery – both photography and illustrations.

The second guiding principle became the human touch. Visually we wanted to capture the human connection between Lisa as a therapist and the people she was helping, her customers.

By putting these together, we developed a strong and trusting colour palette built around the strong blue colour of Migol Blue to communicate calmness, trust, stability and intelligence.

Supported by secondary and highlight colours of Golden Marguerite and Portland Orange, we designed a colour palette that ‘popped’ and communicated Lisa’s strong personality and approach. The yellow was included to create a sense of sunlight, warmth, energy, and happiness, whilst the orange communicates enthusiasm, optimism, warmth, and creativity.

Alongside the logo, we embraced line drawing illustrations within the logo and supporting imagery of people, plants and other natural elements.

💼 The brief

Create a strong, visually engaging website which communicates Sarah’s approach, skills and knowledge to build trust and awareness.

Using the existing logo for ATD we embraced her vision for a site that ‘wowed’ on first visit and which turned visits into leads.

Using a calming colour palette, we built on the meaning behind ATD - “where the attention is in the detail”.

🎨 The design

Clean. Simple. Balanced.

They were our guiding principles.

We embraced a neutral and calming colour palette - Mist Grey, Acoustic White and Trellised Ivy supported by a darker grey for typography (Mako).

The site design featured soothing visuals - slow moving videos of bubbles - along with curves and clean lines.

These were supported by professional photos of Sarah to add personality and clarity to the site.

Explore one of our recently launched websites - Best Start in Life in Bromley

💼 The brief

Communicate Bromley’s offer of advice and support for a child’s development – from pregnancy to childcare right through to starting school – as part of their Best Start in Life programme.

Alongside this, we needed to clearly communicate the contents of their first Best Start in Life Plan.

Our solution created two additional parts of the Bromley Parenting Hub...

📋 The Offer

We began by researching the current offer across Bromley and the requirements of the national Best Start in Life Programme.

From this, we crafted a site plan of content shaped around the five phases of the programme as these made sense for parents and users.

The pages were designed for mobile usage - responsive, large click buttons and visually engaging - with consistency in design, layout and format to make it easier to navigate and use.

We embraced the Best Start in Life colour scheme to colour code each section to aid navigation and create clear separation between the topics.

📄 The Plan

We began by reading the Plan thoroughly to build our understanding of its contents, purpose and messaging.

We then broke the Plan down into significant sections before building a set of pages which clearly communicated the messaging in clear web text, imagery, colours and formatting.

Using the colours of the Best Start in Life programme, we visually linked the content back to the PDF version of the Plan and the advice section of the website.

To aid navigation and usability, we created a separate menu for those webpages solely focused on the Plan and its contents, with clear links back to the Best Start in Life advice.
