I’m completely blown away by the support I’ve received in the last few months.

When a brand new Godalming business owner got in touch in December, she hadn’t even signed the lease on her premises or started her business.

But she had an incredible idea and knew she needed a website to tell the local community about it.

(If you’re a parent near Godalming, go follow Katherine at - this is super exciting!)

As she was completely brand new, she had… No photos. No reviews. No premises.

Most people might have said “come back when you’re ready.” I said let’s get to work.

With a background in advertising, Katherine sorted her branding. I sourced stock photos and videos, we thought outside the box for testimonials that draw on her team’s 40 years childcare experience. I worked on copy to add the marketing layer from her notes.

3 weeks ago… The Crèche website went live. And it’s already showing up on Google, is getting visitors, receiving job applications and has just opened child registrations, all before they’ve even opened their doors in June.

This is what a strategically built, SEO-optimised website can do for a small business, even before day one.

I’ve been talking about the marketing layer on my stories last week and the response has honestly floored me. So many business owners recognising themselves in this.
