Every year, air pollution causes up to 36,000 deaths in the UK. The World Health Organisation and the UK Government recognise that air pollution is the largest environmental health risk we face today. Poor air quality causes heart and lung diseases, is linked to low birth weight and children’s lung development and may even contribute to mental health issues.
Clean Air Day is the UK's largest air pollution campaign, engaging thousands of people at hundreds of events, and reaching millions more through the media. We are doing our bit by using our cars less today, working from home where we can, walking our children to school and cycling to the shops if we go out.
We’re very proud to work with brands that are actively making a difference in the world, focusing on issues that affect their wider community.
Working with Mitsubishi Electric Living Environmental Systems, our team have provided consultancy services on the topic of Indoor Air Quality.
We’re delighted to have facilitated the partnership between Mitsubishi Electric and both Clean Air Day and the British Lung Foundation’s Living Well Alliance. Follow their talk today at 4:15pm where Mark Grayston discusses Cleaner Workplaces for Healthier Employees.
