At a glance, it looks polished but it’s not an accurate representation.

In an industry built on trust, that truly matters.

A plea from an artist:
All these posters look the same, yet they are from different areas in the U.K. so much so I was concerned that I had repeated the same poster when compiling this.
I realise that many group committees are volunteers and people don’t have the time or funding to consult or even ask someone arty to make a poster for you, but please ditch the urge to ‘save time’ and money by using ChatGPT or other ai services.
At this point your poster would be better seen using Comic Sans and Word Art, or even a sharpie and a Helix letter stencil.
The excessive and sudden burst of ai to help ‘promote’ events has actually lead to nobody looking at the posters because when they appear on social media we think we’ve already seen it. It no longer works for marketing or promotional posters, as in its very brief appearance, ai has already saturated the market.
Please just get a marker pen out instead. Homemade and human made is the way forward now if you want your event to be seen and remembered.

The jumping app you’ve been waiting for.
Do you love jumping but sometimes find yourself stuck for ideas? Are you looking for ways to build your horse’s confidence with gridwork, improve your rhythm around courses, and keep schooling interesting with fun jumping exercises? Are you running out of inspiration and want fresh, exciting new set-ups?

If the answer is yes to any of the above, then you need the EquiJump app by Fancy Footwork Equestrian in your life.

This app includes 60 different set-ups using between one and eight fences, made up of:
• 15 jumping exercises
• 15 grids
• 15 courses
• And a random exercise generator with 15 further fun set-ups!

• The number of fences you want to build

🩵💙 Equiniser wouldn’t exist without these two 🩵💙

I might be the one who had the initial idea, but bringing it to life was completely down to the brilliance of both Blackdog Applications and The Equine Design Studio — two seriously talented women who’ve turned the idea for a digital training diary to support my polework app into the standalone Equiniser app…. It’s unique, clever and something I’m immensely proud of!

Ilse from Blackdog Applications has built every inch of the app from the ground up — the logic, the flow, the clever little features that make it so easy to use, and Beth from The Equine Design Studio worked with me every day for MONTHS designing and developing a slightly different version of the app that you see today, but her creativity and talent are very much present with the clever icons, design of the supporting forms and the creation of the logo!

It hasn’t been plain sailing (what project ever is?), but working alongside Ilse and Beth through every setback has been nothing short of inspiring. They’re smart, kick ass and wildly skilled, and somehow still manage to be patient when I’m asking them the ridiculous questions, and kind when I need my hand holding about making decisions! 😂

We’re an all-women team, working across three different businesses, and I’m thrilled what we’ve created together. Equiniser might be simple to use — but it was anything but simple to make.
