We will be running our next block of Cooking Workshops from Monday, 14th September between 1pm and 2:45pm. If you would like to cook from scratch but feel you need to build your confidence then come and join us and learn some new recipes.

🎉 CashBack is coming to Burnfoot! 🎉

We’re excited to officially launch the CashBack for Communities Project in Burnfoot, bringing three years of FREE activities, opportunities and support for young people right here in our community! 💛

This project has been made possible through CashBack for Communities funding, helping us create more opportunities for young people to try new things, build confidence, have fun, develop skills and get involved in their community.

📍 Burnfoot Community Hub
Targeted at 10-18 year olds

Come along to our CashBack Launch Event where you can meet the team and all our delivery partners and our CashBack Project Coordinator, as well as trying out some of the activities that will be available.

This is just the beginning of three exciting years for young people in Burnfoot and we can’t wait to get started! 🙌

Today in the Community Cafe we are supported by our partners Interest Link Borders. Beth, Abby and our Mel have been working away to make cheese scones and soup using vegetables from our Community Garden.
We are open to 2pm. Come along for a bowl of carrot and pepper soup, cheese scones and a blether!

Our partners from Sustainable Selkirk, SBHA, CLD and Cllr Stuart Marshall are here to provide advice and support too our community

This is a varied and important role at the heart of our busy community building. From helping to keep the Hub clean and welcoming to supporting the day-to-day care of the building, you’ll play an important part in making sure our community space is ready for everyone who uses it.
