I’ve been quietly working on something alongside my design work, and I’m really excited to finally share it with you. Everyday Folk, is a small clothing collection inspired by the natural world, herbalism and all the lovely bits of folklore that weave their way through everyday life. 

🌿My designs are printed on organic in-conversion cotton, supporting farmers as they transition to more sustainable, regenerative practices.

At its heart, Everyday Folk is about gentle action, honouring the plants that support us through herbalism and encouraging a slower, kinder relationship with the earth.

Did you know that the loofah sponge comes from a plant?
If you’re sick of throwing away household scourer sponges after a week or two of use then these plant based sponges make a fantastic eco swap. I made the swap a few months ago and it’s a change I’m sticking with. I bought mine from a fabulous eco retailer based in Ireland. They’re great quality and last months rather than weeks so the cost is justifiably.

If you have green fingers you could even try and grow your own. You may need a greenhouse as they need to be grown under glass in the UK. I tried and failed growing them in my conservatory as it just doesn’t get enough light but I’ll most definitely try again when I can. There’s a great article available about how it’s done. (Just google National Trust luffas.) They’ve cleverly been growing their’s for low impact use in their estate property kitchens. 👍🌱🌸

It’s World Wildlife Day. Do something for your local wildlife today. I’m going to sow some flower seeds and put out some extra treats for the birds.
Last year we began putting out niger seeds and after a few months (on my birthday in fact) we were delighted to be visited by a charm of goldfinches. Truly magical little creatures, that have already returned to the feeder this year.
Don’t forget you can make a difference. Protect what you love!

After a few years hiatus I've reopened shop with a fresh brand and a new mission. I want to help businesses with a green agenda create effective branding and beautiful design.

It's so much fun designing for Pippettes. Here's the new Pippettes farm natural soap bars, emblazoned with my logo design and covered in greaseproof paper featuring my wheelbarrow icon, this time full of herbs and plants ready to be added to these lovely produce!
