I’m so excited to announce that I’ve been put in for the SSH awards for young business owners! Please if you have a minute vote for ‘peaches media’
The last year has been extremely difficult facing different challenges along with raising my beautiful daughter, I was working multiple jobs at once I was struggling to find time for my little family and I was struggling with my mental health like I haven’t ever struggled before I was stressed out and couldn’t see past the fact that I thought that working multiple jobs and barely seeing my baby girl was what I was destined for in the long run
in the process of all of that I decided I was finally going to set out by myself and start to work for myself, after all I’ve been doing this for years, I studied it in college and doing online courses why couldn’t i? Being 17 and getting my first client and hearing her recommend me to people is absolutely a feeling like no other.
Still being 18 and buying a car, (I probably should of gone with something more reliable to be honest 🤦🏻♀️) moving out of my mums, raising little thea, seeing my family seeing my friends putting time aside for me, thea deserves her own little thank you in this, she’ll always be my biggest motivation to keep pushing and that’s exactly what she did.
At peaches media we don’t just do media and marketing management, I also decided I wanted to train young children from the ages 5-15 who struggled with anxiety and confidence difficulties in photography as a little hand to hold to gain that confidence back up, it entirely changed my job for me and it wasn’t just a job anymore it was something that I loved going out and doing.
I love sitting and creating content or going out and sitting in meetings with another businesses management and I have to say thank you to the people who took a chance with me when I had very little to show for what I did in the moment!
The prize for winning the SSH awards is 2.5k and if I do win I’ve decided I’ll be using the money to buy extra kit and start a group training instead xOf 1-1 sessions for the children who are struggling.
To the people who have known about my journey here and helped me go forwards when I was struggling and didn’t give up I just want to raise a massive thank you and to the people who didn’t even know I worked for myself… well you do now 😉
