Live on air now with Terry Jones at Channel Radio

Talking branding, networking, connections - essentially anything that I've gotten involved with.

I've also just revealed the results of our Bay Branded Merch Ltd competition.

We had soooo many entries and most were practical! Maybe the branded yacht suggested by Matthew Dorrington might be a bit out of range but it's nothing if not entertaining! Kudos also to Sian Johnstone for her branded Emergency Stop Button, Pip Chandler for her cuddly llamas and one of the children of Jeanette Wessen for the branded megaphone - so much potential there!

Our judging panel, Mike, Stuart and Glynnis have come up with a top three.

In third, Sidonie Delaney for her idea of branded chattering teeth!!!

In second, an idea we loved so much, we're going to give a runners prize of a £100 voucher to. Jane Pearman of Hypo Hounds for her suggestion of branded poo bags :)

But, the winner, for her really intuitive idea of branded screenshields is Samantha Hastings - well done, we will be in touch very soon to see if we can make this happen!

If you know Phill in any way, you'll be aware that he has "a bit of a radio background". Nothing life-changing but radio has been a huge part of his life since my late teens. A very very very long time ago!!!

He doesn't do much radio these days. Quizzes, podcasts and match day announcing have taken over.....

But when he gets the chance, he grabs it.

Hence why we know he's really looking forward to making an appearance with Terry Jones on Channel Radio today.

Hey all, its Phill, part of the Bay Branded Merch Ltd team.

You might have noticed we've been doing something called this month - it's our own hashtag we've been working on to help promote what we do.

Today's post is slightly different.

It's Mental Health Awareness Week. It gives those who want to use it a hashtag for a few days and that's fine.

The reality is that too many people are still struggling quietly while pretending everything is fine. I think I can speak for Mike and Patrick when I say we've all had our challenges and even now, when out, we spend a lot of time talking to people experiencing those pressures right now.

Business owners.
Staff teams.
Event organisers.
Charities.
Friends.
You
Me

Pressure comes in all shapes and sizes. Financial stress. Burnout. Loneliness. Anxiety. Grief. Imposter syndrome. The feeling that you’ve got to keep smiling while your head’s doing 100mph.

Check in with someone.

Not the automatic “How's it going?

A real conversation. A real listen.

Some people are carrying far more than they let on. If you’re struggling, you are not weak. If someone opens up to you, don’t try to “fix” them immediately. Just be there. Sometimes that’s the biggest thing you can do.

Look after your mates. Look after your team. Look after yourself too.

And if today is tough, just focus on getting through today. That’s enough.

To revert to type, here's a stress ball of some kind......something that stresses a lot of us out in daily office life - the f***in printer!
