It’s not showing off, it’s showing a different side of your life. You are your brand, and your life makes you who you are. It’s ok to share little snippets to give substance to your work. Your business is content but your brand is who you are.

I'm on a video content journey! When I worked in corporate, I relied on experts to film and edit my company’s video content. Now that I work for myself I've been on a journey to learn how to create my own video content, edit them, and show all my small biz clients how to do it for themselves. And the amazing support I get from other women, supporting women, is phenomenal!

As expected, was one of my fave conferences. Last year was my first time and I still wasn’t sure where my business was going. This time I’ve had more clarity and so every talk I attended was intentional and helpful. I can’t wait to share what I’ve learned with my clients, and apply it to my own business!

Confession: I'm terrible at sales. 🙃

I've been in marketing for over ten years because I'm a born storyteller, so actually selling my services just felt weird and wrong.

Atomicon helped me completely change my mindset. I met all these incredible people and listened to top tier speakers and finally got some clarity about what I wanted to focus on as a freelancer. It gave me the nudge to get myself out there to stand out in a crowd and sell my services!

So I'm back this year, next Tuesday on the 16th of June, slightly less terrified, more sure of myself and who I am, and very excited to let the wave of awesomeness carry me to my next level and beyond!
