Let’s be real for a second…You want more followers, more enquiries and more sales, but you’re still listening to every “grow your account overnight” guru that pops up on your feed 👀
The problem? Most of their advice either stopped working years ago or was never working in the first place 🤣
If you’re serious about reaching the RIGHT audience (not just any audience), here are 5 things you need to stop doing on social media👇
1. Buying followers
Looks great on paper, does absolutely nothing in reality.
Fake followers don’t buy, enquire, book or recommend you. They just sit there making your engagement cry.
2. Posting and disappearing
You can’t expect people to talk to you if you’re not talking to them.
Spend a few minutes before and after posting engaging with people. Social media is supposed to be… social 😅
3. Only posting promotions
If every post is “buy from me”, people switch off.
Show your face, your process, your wins, your mistakes and your personality. People buy from people they know and trust.
4. Trying to talk to everyone
If your content is for everyone, it’s for no one.
The clearer you are about who you help, the easier it is for the right people to find you. (I was guilty of this too🤦🏼♀️🤣)
5. Obsessing over the algorithm
Stop refreshing your insights every 10 minutes 🤣
Focus on creating useful content consistently. The algorithm changes every five minutes anyway, but good content doesn’t.
Which one are you most guilty of? Be honest 👇🤣
