The last couple of weeks have been great! We were visited by Rowan Wood of Rivercleanup.co.uk who shared his inspiring vision of rubbish free waterways in the Lancaster area. Mark Nicholls from Bay Property helped us out by acting as a substitute for one of our members, it was great to reconnect with Mark.

Today it was Leah Watson's turn to present 10 minutes on her business i Clean Northwest Ltd. Leah shared her renewed passion of playing Flanker on the rugby pitch. i Clean are the people to speak to for domestic and commercial cleaning. These guys look after all kinds of clients in Lancashire and Cumbria from the elderly looking for a helping hand, to high end £1,000+ per day rental properties.

Well done to Tanya Harris (Sort It Out) for winning the best presentation. You were concise, to time and specific with what you wanted from us. Tanya will get 90 seconds to present next week.

This week's meeting was graced by visitors Alex Graham from Swisspine Galston, web developer JiaJun Kong, Eric Thompson from Walmsley Financial Planning Ltd, and balloon artiste Small Paul.

Nick Holmes from ActionCOACH UK delivered an education slot on the importance of nurturing relationships with your Golden Geese to ensure a regular flow of referrals.

Adam from Amphibious- Land and Aquascaping shared his favourite Core Value: Accountability. Every member attends the chapter to further their own business, but we're all in it for each other too!

Jordan Vare of Citadel Flooring Ltd presented his business, values and background. We all learned the importance of a good sub floor before laying carpet or LVT.

Jordan Whittle of Central Insurance Services won the Best Presentation and will receive 90 seconds next week, well done Jordan.

This week we were treated to a Referrals Masterclass by BNI Area Director Mark Irlam of Mewies Solicitors. With his guidance in just seven minutes our member's brains were fizzing with referral ideas for each other!

Tanya Harris of Sort It Out won the Best Presentation, and will be given 90 seconds next week. Well done Tanya!

We were pleased to host Gustavo Bossato of R3V Media, Matt Brown of Select K9 Security, and Sharon Burns an amazing graphic designer.

This week our chapter all wore something green in honour of Mental Health Awareness Month. Business owners are statistically likely to suffer from depression, burnout, loneliness and unfortunately su***de. Our chapter members provide a variety of services designed to lighten the load for business owners, they'd love to meet you!

One of those members is Steve Swift of No Limit Solutions, who educated us in his services in lead generation, reducing the lead to sale period and automation. We were all left wanting to know more, I suspect Steve will be busy for the next couple of weeks with our follow up questions!

Well done Adam Higginson of Amphibious- Land and Aquascaping for winning the best presentation this morning, you'll be getting 90 seconds next week to regale us with more plant, bird, worm and frog anecdotes!

Robyn Thomas of Stanleys Community Centre Morecambe awarded Jordan Vare of Citadel Flooring Ltd with a tiny trophy, but big love for his recent fundraising efforts.
