Pine Design Studio turns 8!

A little late to the party (due to a very hectic end to the year) but in December 2023 Pine Design Studio turned 8 years old.

It’s been a really busy, stressful, yet fun few years and this little business of mine is growing successfully and naturally through hard work and great clients and partners.

I now have a bespoke home office space, new clients, oh, and a daughter to keep me even busier than normal!

You can read all about the highs and lows of 2023 in my journal post on the Pine Design Studio website.

Great to see the new inspirational quotes and alumnae boards going up in the main hall

It’s crazy to think that the first iteration of these boards were one of the first projects that we worked on almost 9 years ago!

They’re now rebranded in the schools recently updated brand and proudly show off the achievements and inspirational quotes from a selection of high flying alumnae.

We’re so proud of the work we do within the education sector. It’s a sector that is constantly evolving and always benefiting from well deployed visual communication.

A great weekend cycling the to support my friends over at .

What’s not to love about cycling? It keeps you healthy and allows you to take in the sights, the smells and the sounds of the beautiful countryside.

Supporting a great charity who are doing some incredible work is always a good thing.

I’m so proud to be part of this annual event, and it was brilliant seeing everyone having a great time, chatting and supporting each other along the way.

Our work within the education sector has been a success since we first started back in 2014.

We’ve helped some of the top performing schools in the North of England to show off their history and prestige through the use of print and digital comms.

We love the work that we produce and best of all we get to work with likeminded people from such an inspiring sector.

Another top review from a branding project for a new local business.

As a creative it’s always brilliant to have positive feedback and it’s rewarding to help out people who are making positive changes in the local community.

I’m excited (if a little bit nervous) to have signed up for this year’s . I’ve worked on the branding, jersey design and medal design for the past 3 years of this amazing event for my lovely clients RAF Benevolent Fund .

The training will start this week to get fit enough to cycle the 80mile route in May. I live in such a hilly area that getting back on a bike for the first time in 2 years is a daunting task!

I’ll be asking for sponsorship for the ride to help raise funds for the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund. I’m also doing the ride in memory of my late Grandma Wynne, who served in the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force (WAAF) during WWII and was stationed in Lincoln at Bomber Command. She was also one of the veterans involved with the opening of The Spire memorial at the International Bomber Command Centre International Bomber Command Centre in 2015.

The all important Brand Guidelines.

But why are they so important to a branding project?

1. They give guidance to those who are implementing the brand across their organisation
2. They help set a standard and consistency that builds throughout the lifespan of the brand
3. They help external stakeholders or 3rd party users of the brand to uphold the consistency of the brand.
