Some of you will know that Cerub PR sponsors the incredibly talented Chloe Melton, who plays for Wycombe Wanderers Women.
The team has had an outstanding season, earning promotion to Tier 4, and Chloe played a huge part in that success, scoring an impressive 32 goals.
Unlike many men's teams, women's teams don't receive the same level of financial support. Players are responsible for covering costs such as kit, travel and other expenses, which is why sponsorship and community support are so important.
Alongside the commitment required to compete at this level, the players all work full-time jobs. Chloe is a frontline police officer and dedicates countless hours to training and representing her club.
Sadly, during a recent training session, Chloe suffered a full-thickness ACL rupture. The injury will require surgery followed by an extensive rehabilitation programme, meaning a long road to recovery both for football and her career.
With NHS waiting times currently very long, Chloe is hoping to fund private surgery so she can begin treatment sooner and return to both work and the sport she loves as quickly as possible.
