This is happening to often and it’s starting to p**s me off, that we vinyl letter and wrap vehicles for customers ,that burglars seam to think it’s a good target to break into vans
This was one of my customers last night that had his roof ripped open for his tools just before Christmas 🀨😑

Has anyone seen anything outside of 40 Station Road! My husbands van has had the roof cut open and all of his tools stolen from under our bedroom window! He’s lost thousands of pounds worth of kit! Anyone either any information would be greatly appreciated.

LATEST SAD NEWS UPDATE
https://www.leics.police.uk/news/leicestershire/news/2025/december/body-found-in-search-for-missing-earl-shilton-woman/

⚠️ LATEST – GLENDA KEAL (85) | FULL COMMUNITY & POLICE FULL-UPDATE ⚠️

πŸ” CRITICAL – VERIFIED INFORMATION FROM SEARCHING OFFICERS

A local resident has spoken directly with a police officer actively involved in the search for missing 85-year-old Glenda Keal. The officer provided a detailed breakdown of Glenda’s last known movements, CCTV sightings, likely routes, and search logic based on what is and isn’t captured on local cameras.

πŸ“ CCTV TIMELINE – FULL SEQUENCE OF EVENTS

β€’ Just before 1:30pm, Sunday 7 December – Glenda boards the 158 bus at The Hollow, Earl Shilton.
β€’ ~1:45pm – She gets off the bus at The Crescent, Hinckley.
β€’ She is then seen walking towards Station Road after exiting the bus.
β€’ Just after 1:50pm – CCTV shows Glenda on Hawley Road, walking in the direction of Westfield Road.
This is the last confirmed CCTV timestamp before the new sighting discovered later.

🚨 MAJOR NEW CCTV SIGHTING – TEENAGER ON BIKE MAY HOLD VITAL INFORMATION

β€’ 2:17pm – CCTV from a premises on the corner of Coventry Road & Granville Gardens (Hinckley) shows Glenda speaking to a teenage boy on a bicycle.
β€’ The interaction lasts approximately 25 seconds.
β€’ The boy is seen pointing, appearing to give directions to Glenda.
β€’ He is wearing a dark tracksuit with stripes on the arms.
β€’ He has a small parcel or takeaway box mounted on the front of his bike.
This teenager could be the key witness who knows exactly what Glenda asked, what directions he gave her, and where she went next.

πŸ“ DETAILED MOVEMENTS

A police officer confirmed:
β€’ Glenda was then seen on CCTV at the Coventry Road shops (near the fish & chip shop).
β€’ She was walking down Coventry Road toward Hinckley town centre.
β€’ Police confirm she did NOT reach Lidl, nor the Family Centre β€” they checked all CCTV in those locations, and Glenda does not appear.
β€’ Because of this, officers believe she may have cut through the side of the park, taking the narrow path (jitty) that leads to Granby Road.
β€’ She was also NOT seen at the CCTV-covered Rugby Road shops, ruling out that direction.

πŸ‘€ SEARCH AREA – POLICE STRATEGIC ASSESSMENT

Officers believe Glenda is now likely in a place that is:
β€’ Not obvious
β€’ Possibly concealed or sheltered
β€’ Somewhere a passer-by would not easily spot her

They explained this reasoning clearly:
β€’ She has not been seen by dog walkers, who cover the area heavily.
β€’ She has not been spotted during school-run traffic, when the area is busiest.
β€’ Multiple hospital checks were completed β€” no trace of her.

Therefore, police are encouraging on-foot searches in all hidden, less-frequented, and more difficult-to-see locations, including:
β€’ Merevale Avenue
β€’ Granby Road
β€’ All paths, jitties, cut-throughs, wooded edges, behind garages, alleyways, and park-side areas.

πŸ‘΅ FULL DESCRIPTION OF GLENDA KEAL (85)

β€’ Height: 4ft 11ins
β€’ Hair: Short greyish hair
β€’ Glasses: Gold-rimmed
β€’ Clothing: Dark-coloured coat
β€’ Build: Small, elderly, vulnerable
β€’ Behaviour: May appear confused, tired, disoriented

πŸ“£ WHY INFORMATION FROM THE PUBLIC IS NOW CRUCIAL

Police are actively trying to reconstruct minute-by-minute movements after her last verified direction.
The teenager on the bike is now considered one of the most important people to locate, as he is the last known individual to have spoken to her after she became disoriented.

πŸ“ž HOW TO REPORT ANY INFORMATION IMMEDIATELY

β€’ For urgent sightings, call 999 quoting incident 485 of 7 December
β€’ For general information, call 101
β€’ Even the smallest detail β€” a possible sighting, CCTV, doorbell footage, driveway camera, dashcam, or anything unusual β€” may be what finally leads officers to Glenda.

πŸ™ PLEASE SHARE – THE COMMUNITY RESPONSE MATTERS
Glenda has now been missing for an extended period, and the police response is escalating.
Sharing this detailed update massively increases the chance that someone recognises the teenager, saw Glenda in the key areas, or spots something new today.
