From Cambridge to Houston: Scaling Global Content Sustainably 🌍

How do you capture 40 high-quality films across two global HQs without the massive carbon footprint—or the massive travel budget?

A recent project for an organisation based in the Cambridge science research centre resulted in us producing 23 films showcasing local innovation for their global partnership network.

When the project expanded to Houston, Texas, for a further 17 films, collaboratively we chose a smarter way to scale:

✅ We coordinated with our trusted US partners to film on-site.
✅ Managed and post-produced entirely from our UK HQ.
✅ Delivered on time, on budget, and significantly more carbon-positive than traditional international travel.

By working together with our clients we were able to create a blueprint for a more cost effective and sustainable solution to help this large organisation communicate with its teams globally.

We wanted to share a story about a recent project that truly embodies our ethos: “It’s not just another project. It’s a story we become part of.” It felt particularly poignant to share this work today, on World Mental Health Day.

We had the privilege of partnering with the Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) to produce a Su***de Prevention film. The brief was sensitive, requiring us to film young people discussing highly personal subject matter.

The technical delivery was important, of course, but the real challenge was human: creating an environment of safety and trust. The feedback we received from the client and the young people themselves—about the patience and kindness shown by our team—was incredibly humbling.

One young person shared: ‘I was so nervous going into the room but they spoke to me through everything so I knew what to expect. They let me know that I didn’t have to get it right first time and this took so much pressure off that I actually quite enjoyed it.’

We've been out and about, collaborating with fantastic clients and bringing diverse marketing visions to life.

• London Interview Shoots: Our team made several trips to London, working on a series of insightful interview-style films.

• Awards Evening Filming: We had the pleasure of filming a prestigious awards evening, including some engaging pre-event interviews with the potential winners.

• Local Company On-Set Production: We had an incredible on-set filming experience for a local organisation. This project involved not only managing the shoot itself but also hiring talent and utilising our animator to help frame shots perfectly for post-production. We genuinely can't wait to share the final results of this one with you!
