📣 Announcement time 📣

Since becoming a family of three in July last year I’ve been through a lot! I’ve struggled with postnatal depression and anxiety, our little man has has reflux and an undiagnosed tongue tie, we’ve had sleep problems, feeding problems… it’s been a time! However, thanks to the help of my counsellor, and a lovely supportive group of Mums, not to mention my family and my kind and brilliant husband, the cloud of depression has lifted. Seven months in and I’m feeling pretty happy to be Lewis’s Mum,
and finally enjoying it!

So, with all this in mind, I have decided to press pause on Clare Gray Designs for now, in order to be able to enjoy more time as a family of three 💕

I’ll be starting up claregraymakes next month when my maternity leave is up, keeping my Etsy shop running and fulfilling wholesale orders again. I *think* I can just about manage this in nap times and evenings, but I won’t have the capacity to be able to dedicate my full attention to wedding clients and stationery commissions at the moment.

I’m prioritising mental health and family over productivity. A difficult decision, but the right one for my family right now.

We featured my Katherine suite in this shoot, and all the stationery is printed on recycled cardstocks, using eco-friendly inks. The place cards are made from seeded paper to grow wildflowers when planted. I love the beautiful pink and peachy tones of this suite, so often people assume eco-friendly stationery means browns, so it was a joy to create this bright colourful suite to show that eco friendly can be colourful, too.

These handsome guys came from Alpaca Evolution, a local farm that offers alpaca walks and wedding hire. They had a lovely temperament, and one of them was even up for wearing our dried flower crown.

Introducing the newest member of team Gray; Lewis. This little squishy bundle has turned our lives upside down since his arrival on Tuesday morning 🙃 We are finally home from hospital and getting to know each other. We may be a bit quiet for a while, we are slowly figuring out how to be a family of three.
