Due to expansion of our factory and installation of a new machine an exciting position has become available for a full time Shift Digital Printer and Print Finisher to join a friendly team based in Hockley, Essex (SS5 4AD).
We are looking to recruit an industry professional with digital printing or finishing skills to work alongside our strong print and finishing team, however happy to consider candidates with minimal printing knowledge for which can be developed.
Shift pattern
Early - Monday to Thursday 06.00 to 14.00 - Fridays 06.00 to 12.00
Days - Monday to Friday 09.00 to 17.30
Late - Monday to Thursday 14.00 to 22.00 - Fridays 11.30 to 17.30
Role Requirements
• Digital printing knowledge basics
• Finishing skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work under pressure
• A cando attitude
• Good attention to detail
• Work to a high level of accuracy
• A good sense of humour
Role Responsibilities
• Carry out tasks and operate any required machines and processes associated with the smooth running of the printing area as requested by the Manager to meet production targets, customer needs, efficiency and quality requirements in line with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Comply with health and safety regulations within the team and the environment ensuring safe practice regarding use of equipment and general good housekeeping to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

Bookshops re-opening since lockdown restrictions eased have boosted the market 18% in volume against the same period in 2019, with 14.6 million books sold since shop doors opened, beginning in England on 15th June.
