Each lockdown has brought an unprecedented amount of people out into the countryside for walks/exercise.
This has resulted in a lot of people walking past horses and bringing treats with them to feed these horses.
Unfortunately whilst this might be seen as a nice thing to do for the kids etc. This has resulted in numerous horses having died throughout the U.K. as a direct result to having been fed stuff they shouldn’t be.

Things such as polos, apples even carrots have sugar in.
The horse you are feeding could have an allergy or illness meaning they cannot eat these things.

Feeding things such as sliced up carrots, could result in them choking.
Feeding cut grass and other things such as random vegetables/peelings could make horses drastically sick or even lead to them dying.

We recently made some signs for a yard to help point out that whatever you’re thinking of feeding them, you shouldn’t!

Whilst this shouldn’t be happening at all, if you’re after a sign like this for outside the stable or field to help remind people not to do it. Then contact us now for a price on what you’re after.
