🧘 Baby Yoga 🧘‍♀️

I often incorporate elements of baby yoga in my MooBorn and Baby Moo classes.

🥰 Yoga is a fabulous way to help your little one develop, increase range of movement and become more aware of their bodies.

Much like baby massage, yoga can help both you and baby by:

💞Promoting bonding & attachment
💪🏻Improves baby’s muscle tone
🤗Boosts oxytocin hormones (cuddle hormones)
🧘Relaxes baby and grown up
🌬️Reduces gas, colic and digestive issues
❤️Regulates primary functions like breathing, circulation, nervous system, etc
💤Promotes sleep
🩸Improves blood flow

🍁Amazing Autumn🍁 is one of my very favourite themed classes.
Our little explorers will ……

🍂learn body awareness by getting ready for “when we go out!”
🍂 go on an scrunching crunching Autumn walk using our “feet,feet”.
🍂use tweezers to practice the pincer grip and match colours on a “bug hut”
🍂 help Olli Oink 🐷 to “keepy up balloon” with fly squatters. Great for hand & eye coordination.
🍂 “tickle tum” with Ostrich feathers
🍂 discover different natural “textures”
🍂 play and build with Tickit glass shapes and “mixing colours”
🍂 learn about “night time visitors” and which animals come out at night
🍂…….and of course there will be lots of bubbles!!

We've all been the new person in class at one point. It's not everyone's cup of tea starting up conversations with people you don't know, but when your brain is sleep deprived too, it can be hard work! 😴

Allow me to give you three ideas to start up a conversation with new people in class:

WOULD YOU RATHER....

1) deal with a baby who only naps for 20 minutes at a time or a baby who takes long naps but only in your arms?
2) deal with a poopy-explosion in the middle of a park... while it's raining... or a toddler tantrum / baby crying fit in the middle of shopping centre?
3) read the same kids' book 20 times a day or listen to one noisy toy on loop for an hour?

💜Every class will have bubbles of course 💜

When trying to chase them they……
🫧 bring the whole group together
🫧 encourage shy children
🫧 help strengthen muscles
🫧 develop gross motor skills
🫧 help visual tracking skills
🫧 help foot and eye coordination
🫧 help motor development
🫧 encourage movement and coordination
🫧 ……are just so magical!
