All settled in to my new office. I am seeing clients at the Glove Factory once again as life becomes normal...ish, so you are welcome to pop along and grab a coffee with me at the Wild Herb cafe which is now on-site and amazing!

I ventured back to my office for the first time in three months yesterday. I had no idea what to expect and I was a little apprehensive to be honest. I needn't have been concerned. The atmosphere was awesomely positive and it sort of felt like Christmas :) Okay so it is only a third full right now but it didn't feel depressing, just uplifting and normal....ish. Big up to my lovely friend Sarah Jane Perret from WhiteSpace, Tim from Marketing Films, Polly who keeps us all under control and hasn't had a moment's break since this kicked off and my lovely office share Dave who popped in late afternoon and looked genuinely thrilled to see me! You all made my day :)

Due to pressure from my family who are way more sensible than me ;) I will be working from home for the next few weeks. I'm lucky enough to be able to do this and cutting out travelling time means that I can put in even more hours!

I've recently started consulting with clients in house. Generally it's a half an hour explainer and then an hour working on-page with full website optimisation and a back-link starter session. I also offer an extra hour if you'd like to add blogging for business into the mix :)

If you're taking some well earned time off at Christmas (and I am) why not take some time to write some great content for your blog? Sit down with a cup of tea or a gin and tonic and just start writing. Google favours blog or news items that contain over 1200 words but don't be put off. You can always go back and add text later. I rarely start a blog with the intention of over a thousand words but I do go back and add more at some point. Don't forget your key-phrase in the 'meta title' and description and make sure you add at least one internal link as well as two or three images with alt tags :)
