Its a local magazine run for the village by a villager. The paper and ink is not donated or paid for by anyone else by the advertisers, without them the publication would not exist. Join Wealden Brass on Sunday 9th November for our annual Remembrance Sunday event at Christ Church Horam.

The event will begin outside the church at 10:50am with the Act of Remembrance, including wreath laying at the war memorial. Following this, the service will move inside the church where there will be hymns and a special Remembrance Sunday service.

Tea, coffee and cake will then be served in the church hall following the service. This is a free event, and all are welcome to attend.

Would Your Child Like to Turn on Heathfield and Waldron Parish Council’s Christmas Lights?

We’re excited to launch our Christmas Colouring Competition, running from 13th October to 17th November!

🎄 One lucky winner will be chosen to switch on the Town’s Christmas lights on Friday 21st November at 4:35pm 🎄

🏆 The winner will also receive a small prize, along with two runner-up’s!

All entries will be displayed in the Parish Council office window, brightening up the High Street for the festive season and spreading Christmas cheer to everyone passing by.

How to Enter:
• A selection of colouring templates has been shared with local schools.
• Download templates from our website (www.hwpc.org.uk)
• Collect them from the Parish Council office.

Once completed, please drop your entry off at:

Competition Details:
• Open to children aged 3–11
• Judged in three age categories: 3–5 years, 6–8 years and 9–11 years
