The Style Angle Helping busy women to get dressed with more confidence and less stress!

16/06/2026

These are some of the most common style struggles I hear from women before they work with me.

Sound familiar?

The main one is usually - I've got loads of clothes but nothing to wear!

If you've ever had any of these thoughts, please know you're not alone. Most women feel this way at some point. The solution isn't to start with a shopping trip, it's to go back to the start of your Style Journey:

Step one - to work out what suits you, your body, your lifestyle and discover your style
Step two - to see what you currently own and work with this
Step three - then! You can shop the right pieces to fill in the gaps

If you're struggling with your wardrobe and don't know where to start, send me a message. I'd love to help you on your Style Journey and to get dressed with more confidence and less stress.

Summer outfits I’ll be rewearing and can’t wait to wear again!

These are some of my looks, items and accessories from last summer that I’ll be bringing back this year.

Are you panicking about your summer / holiday wardrobe? My advice would be to:

- Start with what you already own
- Look back at photos and remember the outfits you enjoyed wearing and felt good in
- Get those items/outfits out first - before you buy lots of new
- Then see if you can style them in a slightly different way - mixing with a different top/bottom or with a new shoe or accessory. Refreshing what you own is a great way to breathe new life into your outfits!

What was your favourite outfit from last summer you will be re-wearing this year? Let me know below…

One of the things I love most about being a Personal Stylist is seeing someone's confidence return.

This lovely client came to me feeling disconnected from her wardrobe after years of putting everyone else first. Together, we worked through my Shape & Style session to understand what suited her, what felt good to wear and how to create outfits that reflected who she is today.

This session was all about helping her discover a personal style that feels right for her and works for her busy lifestyle.

By focusing on fit, proportion and some styling tricks, using her existing clothes, I showed her how small changes can completely transform an outfit and more importantly change the way she feels. Ultimately, helping her to get dressed with less stress!

Here are some new colour combinations for you to try this Summer:

Pink and Orange – You'll often see this combination in summer prints because the colours work so beautifully together. If wearing them as block colours feels a little bold, try making one colour the main focus and introducing the other through an accessory such as a bag, shoes or perhaps a hat/scarf.

Lime/Chartreuse and Brown – A pairing that feels fresh and modern. While you might instinctively reach for black with a lime top, the contrast can feel quite harsh. Brown creates a softer, more balanced look. Try a lime vest with brown linen trouser, or for a subtler take on the trend, add a chartreuse bag or sandals to a neutral brown outfit.

Which colour combo is your favourite? Let me know below…

It’s time for another Style Spotter!

Last week I spotted two fabulous ladies from - a gorgeous independent shop in Horsham town centre. I love seeing people who wear what makes them feel good and bring their own personality to their outfits, and these two definitely do just that.

Have a flick through to find out more about their style, favourite pieces, and what fashion means to them. Style is so personal, I just love hearing about someone's influences and tastes.

Thank you so much to Hannah and Louisa both for being such great sports and sharing your style with us!

Let’s please give them some love in the comments and remember, kind comments only please. My Style Spotter feature is here to celebrate confidence, individuality, and great style in our community. 🧡

Do you struggle to know what to wear when the weather suddenly becomes boiling outside? In the absence of a nice pool to have a dip in, the reality of trying to stay cool whilst having to dress for your every day, can be a challenge!

My biggest tips? Focus on fabrics and fit before anything else. Think:

- Natural fabrics like linen and cotton which are breathable. Avoid wearing polyester or nylon which will make you very hot and sticky!

- Opt for more relaxed and loose fits. These don’t need to be oversized, you can still create shape by adding a loose tuck or a rolled sleeve on a shirt. A dress with some shape on places rather than loose all over.

- Try easy and effortless co-ords which can be worn separately too.

I hope this is useful! Let me know what else you’d like style tips on below…

Have a good week, enjoy the sunshine and stay cool! Lx

Recently I asked on my stories, what you would like to see styled up and ‘Every day looks’ got the most votes, so here we go...

When I talk about “every day looks”, I mean outfits that work for real life.

Pieces that are:
• comfortable enough to actually wear all day
• versatile enough to mix and match
• effortless, but still make you feel put together

These are the kinds of outfits you can mix and match and elevate through different accessories and a pop of colour. You could also dress them up just by adding a different shoe, more jewellery or switching the layer for a blazer.

I hope this gives you some easy, wearable inspo. For the links, head to the Shop My link in my bio. I will also share to my stories.

Do let me know which look is your favourite?… 1, 2, 3 or 4?
