I spend most of my time writing copy, proposals, strategies, ads, and video scripts, so I’m always testing different tools. Top of my list are:

Claude: Sorry, ChatGPT, you've been replaced. Well... almost. Claude is a great partner for writing, strategy, and content editing. Brief it properly, and it’s brilliant.

Custom ChatGPT: Custom GPTs handle a lot of the heavy lifting for reports and proposals.

And the worst? Any tool that promises FREE, only to hold your work hostage behind a paywall at the very end, after you've spent ages on it!

Expo season is here 👀

At a busy exhibition, people make snap decisions in seconds, so your graphics, video reels and printed materials need to quickly show who you are, what you do and why someone should stop for a conversation.

Last year, we supported several clients with exhibition visuals, branded merch and video content for B2B events, including NRC at Highways UK.

For NRC, Luva Studio handled the design, artwork, proofing and production of the exhibition visuals and printed materials, alongside tailored drone video content for the show.

After great feedback, we’re now working on refreshed exhibition visuals for their next event.

Over the last year, we’ve had the pleasure of working closely with Julie Shillito, owner and manager of Hoylake Flooring

When we first started, their website hadn’t been updated in over 10 years. Since then, we’ve refreshed their site, updated their photography (thanks to Kristy Garland Photography ), and supported them with ongoing monthly social media content.

But more than anything, the focus was always the same...to make sure their online presence truly felt like them.

Here are Ian’s favourite & least favourite AI tools👇:

✅ Favourite: Gemini. Especially for coding support. It’s a game-changer for refining HTML and CSS, helping us create fully custom designs that genuinely set our clients apart.

❌ Least favourite: AI writing tools when they’re used badly. You can spot copy-and-paste content instantly. There is no tone, no structure, no real expertise. For me, the best results always come from a human-led SEO approach, with AI used as a support tool, not a replacement.

Great work starts with a good open conversation. We’ve been talking as a team about what we want to do more of, do better, and do differently in 2026 👇

Helen:
In 2026, I want to spend more time on client strategy and Luva training. It’s easy to get pulled into task-driven work, but real impact comes from having a clear strategy. After a big year of upskilling the team in 2025, this gives me space to focus on where I add the most value.
And yes… this is the year I will become a Jedi Master in AI 👩‍🎓

Ella:
This year, I’m stepping into a new area...sales and lead generation. After months of training, I officially start in February, and I’m excited to put everything into practice.

Ian:
In 2026, I’m focused on sharpening ad campaigns and making every budget work harder through smart, data-led marketing.

Pedro:
My goal for 2026 is to keep developing my user-centric design skills to create stronger experiences and even better results for our clients.

Looking forward to what 2026 brings. 🚀

We moved into our new office two years ago, but between client work, new enquiries, and everything in between, the revamp took a back seat. But it’s been well worth the wait.

It gave Pedro the chance to design a bespoke branded wall. After many ideas, edits, and mock-ups… It’s FINALLY on the wall.

We wanted to wow clients and visitors with something that truly shouts LUVA – our brand colours, origins, style, and attention to detail, all designed to stand the test of time.

And with our brand-new signs for Luva Marketing and Luva Studio in place, we finally look like we’re in business 😁
