A message from our MD, Becki…

Thank you, thank you, thank you 🫶

From the bottom of my heart.

Yesterday I took on the biggest challenge of my life - to run 26.2 miles after completing a 16 week training plan.

To say it was tough, well that would be an understatement.

I started strong.

Had a great first half, and hit a wall at 30km when my body just didn’t want to play ball, and everything started to hurt.

Until 3km before the end when I found an untapped energy and picked up the pace to the finish line.

The last 1km was euphoric.
I felt so strong.
And even managed a sprint finish.

(Considering how grim and tough it had been since 30km this was a big (and welcome) surprise!)

Aside from the gels, and the copious amounts of carbs consumed beforehand, the thing that really got me round - was YOU LOVELY LOT!

The support has been overwhelming.
The generosity out of this world.
And the good we’ve been to do TOGETHER is incredible.

Together (you lot & me) we’ve raised over £2000 for UK-Med and I want to thank every single person who has played their part in helping me achieve this.

Emotional.
And pretty ecstatic today.

This was a very special day for our Creative Director, Becki who joined Lazy Discipline workshop, hearing from the grand master of storytelling, on how to do storytelling.

What a treat.

The moral of the story;
You only regret the things you don’t do,
so just do it!

Keep learning.

Learn from the best.

And if you get the chance - meet your idols, they might just live up to (or exceed) all of your expectations 💜
