Since the Covid outbreak in early 2020 we made a conscious decision to stop posting across all our social platforms in respect to those going through hardship. We continued to communicate through direct messaging and focused on supporting our existing customers to ensure that they had what they needed in order to adapt with the drastically changing world.

While the pandemic is still far from over, we can now continue working towards finding our new normal, together.

With the government’s announcement and clear directives about social distancing to prevent the spread of Covid-19, Huddersfield Cloth will be no longer dispatching fabric from this coming Friday, the 27th of March for a minimum period of 3 weeks until after Easter. This is not a decision which has been taken lightly. The health of our employees in particular, but of the wider population more generally will always be our primary concern. We are still dispatching for the remainder of this week so please let us have any orders for cloth you know you are going to require as soon as you can and we will endeavour to send these by Friday the 27th of March. We are hoping and planning to be back serving our customers around the world by the end of April.

To our customers in Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Greater China who have hopefully past the worst of this virus, who are recovering and getting back to a state of normality, our agents there will be taking on additional stock to continue fulfilling the needs to the best of their ability.
