We’ve had a great day filming with Freightliner in Doncaster and Leeds today about the exciting new Safe Insights platform, which has been built by the Rail Safety Standards Board in partnership with the
Freight Safe Programme.

Freightliner is one of the pilot testers of Safe Insights, which is due to go live in March. Watch this space for more details and updates!

The Ribblehead Viaduct.

This vast structure, with 24 huge stone arches standing 104ft above the moor are still dwarfed by the great Yorkshire three peaks of Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-ghent, encircling it in this amazing Yorkshire Dales landscape.

Opened nearly 150 years ago this is one of the most iconic sections on the world-famous Settle-Carlisle railway line.

I wonder how many Christmas tales it has to tell…

It’s really important to us to build great relationships with our clients. To get to know (like the back of our hands) their aims, objectives, tone of voice, and to become recognised as part of their team.

Teams calls and emails don’t always achieve this…there is nothing more important in business to business relationships than building trust and understanding through face to face meetings. They don’t always have to be held in a board room either.

Great week so far with some excellent meet ups with our talented, global business clients.

Breakfast meeting at The Soap Factory - Cocktail Lounge & Kitchen in Leeds yesterday (excellent place where you can have a good chat) followed by more conversation over lunch at the lovely San Carlo Restaurants
Leeds.

And a trip to Bromsgrove today for another productive meeting with great people and a lovely buffet lunch.

Great food, great chats, lots of laughs (as always 😀) and PR planning to achieve results.

When I’m on Teams or GoogleMeets the people I’m talking to may see these framed certificates on the wall behind me.

I’m very proud of them because these commendations evidence the importance of professional communications. In this case it was being part of police investigations, where well thought out communications played its role in helping to catch killers.

The same approach of applying communications strategically can be applied to any organisation, any business, any sector, any project…getting your communications right is vital.
