When I made this vision board at the start of 2025, I was full of hope and feeling the possibilities ahead.
But life doesn't always turn out the way we expect, and 2025 has been tough.

Losing my Dad suddenly in August floored me.

I'm going into 2026 holding onto the good things I've learned from this year.

♥️ I have amazing friends and family and I am so grateful
💙 To be able to spend time with loved ones is a gift
💚 Community is everything in difficult times.

I chose "brave" as one of my words for 2025. I don't think I've been brave. But I've drawn strength from the wonderful people around me and that's helped me through.
Maybe that's what my vision board was about, after all.

Here's to a hopeful and optimistic 2026.

I LOVE a vintage ad... so when we visited last week I was in seventh heaven.
These ads are well over 100 years old but their messaging strategy stands the test of time.

🫧 Sunlight Soap don't waste any space on their packaging. They've crammed in a ton of key messages to get the purchase, from social proof, to a money-back guarantee and even a bold challenge to show their confidence in the quality of their product.

🚰 These "Natural Health Salts" focus on the health benefits to the customer. Including their exact laboratory location inspires trust and authority at a time when quack cures were pretty common! 🦆

Coleman's starch leads with a clear, bold call-to-action. It implies this product is the superior, quality choice - we shouldn't settle for anything less.
