🚨 PROJECT UPDATE 🚨

We’re proud to have supported Lima Studio and Unusual Projects Ltd with the artworking of the newly launched Treasures Gallery at The Bar Convent Living Heritage Centre, York.

Unusual Projects:

'What began as a remarkable shoebox discovery has become a world-class exhibition. The star of the show? A rare 15th-century Arma Christi roll, now recognised as one of the finest examples ever uncovered.

Since October 2023, the team at Unusual Projects has worked closely with The Bar Convent to create a gallery space that truly honours the significance of this medieval treasure. We're thrilled to have played a role in bringing this extraordinary piece of history to life.

🏁 Trackside at The Secret Meet – Silverstone 2025

We were thrilled to attend this year’s Supercar Driver ‘Secret Meet’ at Silverstone, one of the UK’s most exclusive and exciting private track events.

Since 2022, Aruba has proudly supported Supercar Driver (SCD) with creative content and magazine articles, and it's been incredible to see how the event has evolved.

What started as a low-key gathering has grown into a major calendar highlight, attracting some of the biggest names in motorsport, along with a jaw-dropping lineup of:

🚗 Iconic models from sportscar racing’s golden eras
🚀 Rare and ultra-modern hypercars
🏆 Legendary drivers and collectors

🌍 Exploring Global Communication in Museums

This month, the Aruba team visited the fascinating Museu de la Pesca in Palamós, Catalonia 🇪🇸 - a museum rich in cultural heritage and storytelling, with content primarily presented in Catalan and Spanish.

As part of our ongoing research, we regularly visit museums where English isn’t the primary language. Why? Because in today’s world, delivering clear, accessible graphics across multiple languages is essential - not just for museums, but for businesses, brands, and public services too.

At Aruba, we specialise in creating multilingual visual communications - from interpretive panels and exhibitions to instruction manuals and packaging. We work in a wide range of languages including Spanish, French, Arabic, Chinese, and Japanese, ensuring content is not only translated, but accurately localised for the audience.

Visitors to the Cotswold Designer Outlet will soon benefit from a new, engaging and visually striking visitor information point – inspiring people to extend their journey to the easily accessible town of Tewkesbury.

Visitors can immerse themselves in the town's rich history, admire medieval architecture, explore bustling markets, and experience the vibrant local culture of the town and the surrounding area. 🎭

Designers Aruba Creative have extensive experience in both museums heritage and retail promotion, and were chosen for their unique combination of expertise and understanding of the space.

We'll be working with the Heritage Trust to design and build a new website, retail POS and exhibition pop-ups. All in support of their group and school guided tours around the historic site.

The initial work has already kicked off and we look forward to sharing some of that soon.

🎉 Exciting Project Alert: Saving Crayfish at Flamingo Land! 🎉
We're thrilled to share that Unusual Projects was approached by Flamingo Land to develop engaging interactives which educate guests about the plight of the white-clawed crayfish, with a focus on the threats to this rare and unique native species, and what we can do to reduce these threats. 🦐
Our mission: create a fun and educational trail for ages 5+. This journey includes a foot-marked trail leading visitors through a series of exciting information panels, all the way to the hatchery, ending with a wobble board game. The artwork was especially fun to create! Simple, colourful, and engaging, it perfectly conveys the important message of "Check, Clean, Dry". 🖼️✨
Our talented team brought this vision to life, and we're excited to see how visitors interact with the final project. The client was thrilled with the results, and we can't wait to see the positive impact on Flamingo Land’s guests.

🎉 TENDER WIN 🎉

Aruba Creative has secured the tender for the design and build of the Visitor Information Point (VIP) within the upcoming luxury fashion Cotswold Designer Outlet A multi-million pound project currently under construction on the outskirts of

The VIP will capitalise on the outlet's footfall to showcase the area's rich history, highlighting Tewkesbury's unique contrast between medieval walkways and treasures, alongside modern events and retail.

We look forward to our site visit later this week with Tewkesbury Borough Council and Leach, and to getting started on an illuminated project that will spark curiosity and inspire visitors to Visit Tewkesbury town centre and beyond.

We've recently embarked on a meaningful community project in our local area, joining forces with Tom Stanyard (Senior Economic Development Officer) at

Our first task involved producing six lecterns for the Coalville Heritage Trail, showcasing the narrative of "The Town of Two Fathers." This story unravels how Coalville emerged in the 19th century, spurred by William Stenson's coal discovery and George Stephensons expansion of the collieries. NWLDC and the Coalville Heritage Society, are strategically placing these lecterns throughout Coalville, offering a glimpse into its vibrant history.

Aruba Creative collaborates closely with councils and agencies throughout the UK, lending our expertise in design and production to create such items as heritage signage, wayfinding systems, and digital/print materials.

The RNLI 200 Exhibition: An Immersive Tribute

It's ready! We have been working hard on the temporary exhibit commemorating the RNLI's remarkable 200-year legacy of lifesaving missions at sea. Hosted at Historic Dockyard Chatham, this exhibit is open for a limited time, running from March 23rd to September 1st, 2024.

This special showcase offers a profound reflection on two centuries of the RNLI's journey, showcasing stories of bravery, victories, and heartaches. Discover the courageous narratives of the dedicated individuals who have fearlessly ventured into treacherous waters, explore historical artifacts, and even try on some stylish RNLI apparel and equipment!
