Join Blythswood Care for Afternoon Tea at the award-winning Kingsmills Hotel, Inverness from 2 – 5pm on Thursday 28th April.

The funds raised will be supporting the Cornerstone Trust, which is funded by Blythswood Care, who run a Women and Child Development Centre in Mumbai, India. Cornerstone supports women who have been deceived, betrayed and trafficked through emotional support and education to enable them to have a better a future for them and their children.

Cheryl Heggie School of Dance celebrates 20 years! 🥳

The professional Highland Dance school in Inverness, offers students tuition in a welcoming environment, with annual examinations and progression to competitions.

The school provides opportunities to perform at care homes, school galas and charitable events, such as Strictly Inverness, and internationally at Disneyland Paris and the Belgium Tattoo.

A recent finalist at the Highland Business Awards, the school is recognised for its continual development to make highland dance accessible to more people and provide positive dance experiences for pupils.

Wasps Artists' Studios' recent development Inverness Creative Academy opened its doors to the public earlier this month after a £6million refurbishment.

Created from the transformation of the beautiful B Listed former Midmills buildings on the old Inverness Royal Academy site in the Crown area of the city, this facility could prove to be the next home for those members in the creative industries, social enterprise and cultural charity sector looking to relocate to a contemporary facility, ideally located, which is part of a greater Highland creative.

It offers flexible office space, good digital connectivity, 24 hour access for businesses and a staffed reception. In addition to this, it also offers hotdesking and remote working spaces for those who do not want to commit to an office but might need access to a desk with good Wi-Fi on occasion, when working in the city. They also have meeting room space and a public café in the stunningly refurbished former assembly hall operated by local business Café de Paulo.

This year The Archie Foundation Highland are celebrating their 10 year anniversary of helping Highland children and their families.

As a celebration they are releasing a further #110 bricks, to add to those already displayed on their Wall of Support in Highlands Children's Unit.

Each Brick costs £100.
This equates to:
£1.89 a week - less than a take away coffee!!
27p a day - the price of a tiny Freddo chocolate bar!!

By purchasing a brick you will be helping sick babies, children and their families right across the North of Scotland at a time when they need it the most.

Every penny raised really does make a difference and your help means the world to the team and most importantly to everyone who accesses their services.

By supporting The Archie Foundation in meeting their target of adding a further #110 bricks to their wall you will be helping them to raise over £10,000 to help ensure they can be there to help sick children and their families.
