10 YEARS AT HOODLES — AND COFFEE IS ON US!

It’s hard to believe that this week marks 10 years since I first walked through the doors at Hoodles.

What started as a job quickly became a passion, and five years ago, our family had the incredible opportunity to take over the business and continue building something truly special for local families.

Over the last decade, I’ve worked in every corner of Hoodles, from the coffee shop and parties to cleaning, baking and everything in between. That hands-on approach still shapes how we run the business today, because as a family business, we genuinely care about every customer who walks through the door.

Our goal has always been simple: to create a place where parents and carers can relax while children play, explore and have fun in a safe and welcoming environment.

The support we’ve received from this community over the years has meant absolutely everything to us, and we honestly couldn’t have done it without you.

So, to celebrate this milestone and to say thank you for being part of our journey…

Something massive is coming to Inverurie this Sunday 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Kellands Park is being transformed into one of the biggest outdoor events our town has seen in recent years for the second annual Garioch Pipe Band Championships. If you were there last year, you know the atmosphere is unmatched. If you missed it, you’ll want to clear your schedule for Sunday.

We are playing host to 17 competing pipe bands from all over Scotland, delivering 27 incredible performances throughout the day. But even if you aren't a die-hard pipe band fan, this is a full-blown summer festival right on our doorstep.

Here is what’s waiting for you:

▫️The Event Village: Over 60 independent traders, crafters, and local charities.

▫️ Food Festival : Incredible street food, sweet treats, and a fully licensed beer tent 🍻

▫️For the Kids: A mini funfair, face painting, and family attractions.

▫️The Grand Finale: A massive parade right through the heart of Inverurie town centre to close out the day.

The best part? It is 100% free to attend.

Thousands of visitors are heading our way this weekend, and we cannot wait to welcome them. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

This Sunday, the second annual Garioch Pipe Band Championships is bringing a massive wave of energy, music, and celebration to Inverurie. It’s an event designed to bring our community together, showcase our town, and give a huge lift to our brilliant local high street, hospitality, and retail businesses.

With 17 world-class bands, a sprawling village of 60+ independent traders, incredible food trucks, a beer tent, a funfair, and a spectacular town centre parade, the ambition is simple: to make this a genuine destination event that Inverurie can be proud of for years to come.

Let’s pack out Kellands Park, line the streets for the evening parade, and make some serious noise!
