I took a photo of a Vroon boat when the Tall Ships were exiting Aberdeen Harbour back in July. They really liked my photo and wanted to use it in their newsletter.

So here it is. In print.

𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

I was very excited to be able to go to the recent Tall Ships in Aberdeen.

On the last day, I stood for a number of hours, and photographed the ships as they left. But I didn't just take photos of the Tall Ships. I took pictures of anything which interested me, such as the Coastguards on Jetskis, The Police on a rib, plus all the tugs coming and going.

One such photo was of a Supply Vessel, The Vos Glory. This photo was noticed by Vroon Offshore. They contacted me and asked if they could use it on their social media, which I agreed to.

But the story doesn't stop there. A day or so later, Vroon Offshore contacted me again, this time asking me if they could use the image in their magazine, to which of course, I said yes. Rather than ask for payment, and since the Tall Ships was a free event, I asked if they could send a donation to the RNLI, which they agreed to.
